About Me
Surajkavee, a distinguished Indian film editor, has contributed his expertise to the realms of Tamil, Telugu, and Malayalam cinema since 1999. Having earned a diploma in Film Editing from FTIT, Govt of Tamilnadu 1999 batch, Surajkavee embarked on his journey as an assistant editor under the mentorship of the legendary Padmashree Kamal Haasan at RKFI. Surajkavee debuted as the Film Editor for "M. Kumaran Son of Mahalakshmi," featuring Jeyam Ravi. Since then, He has served as the Chief Editor for over 20 successful feature films in Tamil, as well as a versatile array of Projects Spanning TV commercials, Music albums, Short films, Documentaries, and Corporate videos. Acknowledging his prowess, He was invited as a Jury member for the 63rd National Film Awards in 2016, representing the south panel. The pinnacle of his Achievements includes the Best Editor Award for the film "Something Something" in 2006.
